After an eBay presence for 8 years and our own website up and running for the past 2 years..........we have decided to try a 3rd venue. We are now listing our great vintage and modern clothing, lingerie and patterns on Babylon Mall.
Taking inspiration from this very blog we also decided to try a new name. Although cemetarian is very dear to us and we will continue to function under that name we felt it was time for a different type of branding.
So go on over to Babylon Mall and look for our new stores.
And when you are through shopping with us, take a stroll through the rest of the mall and visit our friends. It's a great place to spend the afternoon, or morning or midnight.
Attitudes was such a smash hit, but the one criticism was there was no information about the brand or the numbers. I did that on purpose because I thought it was Purty! But a valid point was made that if someone really likes a pattern they should be able to find it. So, this time I left the pattern fronts as they are. It's not quite as clean and perfect, but I think it turned out nicely.
So for your viewing pleasure.........here are icon patterns from the mid 60's to the mid 70's.................to the tune of Simon and Garfunkle's 59th Street Bridge Song...........otherwise known as Feelin' Groovy

Just in time for a 4th of July picnic (or you COULD wait for Labor Day) we are offering the PERFECT dress to eat your Hot Dogs in. If you drop the mustard, no one will every notice.
This swingy rayon jersey dress was handmade at home around 1938 and is simply awesome. It has that little shoulder shelf (not a pad but a stiff shelf) to hold out the pleated (not gathered but pleated) sleeve head.
It closes with ......... are you ready for this ...... OLIVE GREEN frogs. So......after you get messy with the mustard you can play with the olives and no body will ever know. I hope everyone has a safe and fun 4th of July but don't forget to spend a little bit of time this week shopping at cemetarian on eBay and at cemetarian.com
It's summer (at least north of the Equator) and time to get into those pretty and swingy Sun Dresses. For those in the north (north of Texas that is) you might want or need a little Bolero or jacket to cover when the sun goes down......... Here a great little selection of Vintage dresses and jackets from cemetarian

We got him when he was 18 months old. Skinny and Skittish he flourished under our care. He was our Empty Nest Dog. But he filled our nest with Joy. Winston enjoyed the best of health and barely knew our family vet. The only times he saw him were once a year for his yearly check up, until a few months ago. With failing eyesight and little hearing, he developed problems eating. He just didn't want to. After a month of injections and fluids we all sadly decided it was time to quit being selfish and let him go.
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
